This iconic Corvette C1 was manufactured in Missouri in August 1961 and benefits from the 327 cu in (5.4 L) Small-block V8 engine.
The history file shows it was purchased from the USA in 1994 and the London based owner, carefully restored the Corvette over the following years, during which the car was completely dismantled as the photographs of the restoration show.
The chassis was treated and painted, the engine stripped and rebuilt and numerous parts were either refurbished or replaced with new components where necessary.
In 2000 the Corvette received a total repaint in the classic colours of ‘Ermine’ white and turquoise. It has a turquoise hardtop and a new black mohair folding hood. The interior was refurbished extensively whilst retaining the original instruments and controls.
This beautiful C1 Corvette offers the chance to own a true American classic which is guaranteed to continue to appreciate in value. With a ‘Carte Grise de Collection’ and current Controle Technique, the car can be viewed by appointment in Tournon d’Agenais, Department 47.
CCSC are selling the car on behalf of their client.
