Price: € 35 500

  • Year: December 1959
  • Kilometers:
  • Exterior: Red
  • Interior: Black leather white piping
  • Engine: 2.1L
  • Transmission: 4 manual
  • Seats: 2
  • Steering: LHD

Stunning 1959 Triumph TR3A that has been totally restored to a very high standard.
Originally from the U.S. where it’s previous lady owner had the car for 25 years, it was taken back to the UK five years ago where it underwent a complete ‘body-off’ restoration.
The engine was completely rebuilt and uprated with 87mm pistons and liners. A TR4 manifold was added along with new starter motor, dynamo and fuel pump. A TR4 ‘all-synchro’ gearbox was fitted and the steering was upgraded to ‘rack and pinion’.
The underside looks as impressive as the rest of the car with no corrosion and all panels are body-coloured. It also benefitted from a stainless steel exhaust system, new wiring loom, electric cooling fan and all pipes and cables are also new.
The interior is also very impressive with all new upholstery, Moto-Lita steering wheel, original controls and gauges, It has a new tonneau cover and hood cover and the original ‘white’ hood and side screens. There are also a pair of ‘aero’ screens supplied with the car.
Although there are no photos of the restoration, there is a large history file detailing all the invoices and it even has it’s original handbook and sales brochure.
