First built in October 1964, this classic Mk1 ‘Pull-Handle’ MGB, benefits from an overdrive gearbox and has been carefully kept to its original specification with the exception of the recently reconditioned engine.
It benefitted from a complete professional ’bare-metal’ restoration in the late 80’s by ‘Colin Groom Automotive’ in Torquay and has since been well cared for by her owners, including a complete repaint in 2005.
The Mk1 interior is in excellent condition retaining its original seats in black with white piping, original ‘Banjo’ steering wheel, black crinkle dashboard, original instruments and a ‘pack-away’ black vinyl hood.
The engine has just been replaced with a ‘5 bearing’ reconditioned version, with an ‘unleaded’ cylinder head conversion and a new clutch plate, cover plate and release bearing.
