The Eyrie, highest residence in the medieval hill-top town of Penne d'Agenais on the Lot river. It has spectacular southerly views stretching from Tournon in the east to Villeneuve in the west. There is a heated pool which is surrounded by delightful terraced gardens offering complete privacy despite being only 5 minutes walk to the town centre. The house is light, sunny and stylishly furnished, with a large open plan sitting room dining room and conservatory. 2 of the 3 bedrooms have immediate access onto the sunny terraces. There is a BBQ and a playroom with table tennis, satellite TV, DVD and a wifi dongle. There is a well equipped galley kitchen. A few minutes stroll and you are in the heart of Penne with its many bars and restaurants. 5 mins by car to Port de Penne with more restaurants and bars, plus a good range of shops and services. Amble along the river, dip your toes, hire a boat or join the walkers along a branch of Le Chemin de Saint-Jacques-de-Compostelle which passes by the front gates.
