Our experience in registering 'collection' sports and classic cars in France, means we can save you a great deal of time and money in your quest to own your dream car in France.

Due to Brexit, the process for importing from the UK is now more complex, however we have the experience to help you to navigate the added Brexit bureaucracy, based on your own personal tax and residency scenarios.

There are three scenarios that apply to registering a car in France:

1: CLASSIC VEHICLE REGISTRATION (IMMATRICULATION)

Classic cars over 30 years old, require a ‘Carte Grise de Collection’. As members of the F.F.V.E. (Fédération Française des Véhicules d'Epoque) we have successfully helped hundreds of clients to register their classic cars in France and saved them a great deal of time and money in obtaining their french immatriculation.

We guide you through the 4 stage process (all via email). We advise on the initial tax declaration requirements, based on when the car arrived in France (either ‘pre’ or ‘post’ Brexit). We explain what information is required and complete all the various forms for your dossier, detailing what photographic evidence is required to obtain the approval certification and give you instructions for the final 'Carte Grise Collection’ online application process.

We can also advise on transportation and tax requirements for importing classic cars from within the EU and ‘non-EU’ countries worldwide.

2: EU CONFORMITY VEHICLE REGISTRATION (IMMATRICULATION)

Cars manufactured to EU conformity, can be sourced in the UK and registered in France, providing all paperwork is authenticated and in place. The system although complex can be fast-tracked and CCSC can advise on the process, allowing you peace of mind in the purchase of your dream car.

3: NON-EU CONFORMITY VEHICLE REGISTRATION (IMMATRICULATION)

The French system is not friendly towards cars that do not conform! However for certain kit-cars and other non-conformity marques, it is possible to get through the process, provided certain key factors are considered from the outset.
