Motorsport Credentials

Over the years I have raced everything from karts through to single-seaters, sports cars and saloons at all the UK circuits and many European tracks as well. As my Racing CV shows I’ve enjoyed some successes, but most importantly I’ve enjoyed every minute and made some great friends along the way.

My last national race season proved a success, finishing runner-up in the 'British Mini Cooper S' championship, where I went on to represent Great Britain in the ‘World Finals’ in Italy.

Alongside my ‘International Racing Licence’ I also held a ‘Race Instructors Licence’ and can give race tuition on track to help drivers improve their car control.

TEAM & DRIVER MANAGEMENT

I established my own racing team in 1996, to compete in the inaugural British Formula Honda single-seater championship. We won the national title for four seasons in succession and managed several very talented young drivers, helping nurture their talents and raise sponsorship to help them progress up the motorsport ladder.

In 1998 my team-mate and protégé James Pickford (4th from left) became one of six nominees for the prestigious 'BRDC McLaren Autosport Young Driver of the Year Award', won that year by Jenson Button.

AUTOMOTIVE INDUSTRY

I have been fortunate over the years to have been able to combine my motor racing exploits with my design and marketing consultancy and this enabled me to work with prestigious automotive manufacturers such as; Bentley, Audi, ABT and Seat, helping launch new products and services where a motorsport theme was required.
