On his latest french painting trip, UK artist Rob Pointon spent a week capturing the village scenes around Roquecor and Montaigu de Quercy in the beautiful Quercy region of South West France and dropped in at our garage to study the classic cars.
Rob is one of the most exciting artists working and living in the UK. His exceptional talents have been recognised by a host of commissions and acquisitions by high profile collectors, of whom the list is headed by HRH The Prince of Wales and Her Grace Deborah, Duchess of Devonshire.
Based in the Potteries, Rob has an uncompromising approach to every painting that he undertakes whether it be a landscape, a cityscape or an urban commission. His strong commitment to painting en plain air with a minimum of studio finishing, shows in the finished works which have freshness and vitality.
